After the past few hurricanes, I went out with the racing drone and flew the Jax Beach Pier. It was a really cold morning so my fingers were pretty numb. While the end video was amazing, it was pretty nerve-racking. There was no depth perception under the goggles when I turned out over the water. My first recorded attempts at flipping the drone! I took off the nice Hero 4 and put on the 3 in case I stuffed it. Some things I learned: the roll rate is rather slow; the drone is underpowered; altitude is precious.
